Sof-Omar Cave

According to tradition, Sof-Omar followed the course of the Juba River, just as sheik Hussein had done with Wabi Shebele.He turned at one of the tributaries of the Juba River which is called Weyb River. The Weyb begins in Bale, passes through a gorge and flows under ground for almost one and half kilometers and finally join the Juba River. This resulted in a serious of grottoes molded by the erosion of the rise and fall of the river. These grottoes possess great beauty and worth visiting. The venerated Sof-Omar settled in one of these caves and started teaching the word of his doctrine, virtue and wisdom with out being scared of the presence of the sprits and their super natural powers from the magical natural universe.<br />It is one of the worlds most spectular and extensive underground systems.
