A.M. Drive east of Addis Ababa to Bishoftu and turn right to the west of it. You will manage to see mount Ziqualla which is located at about 73kms from Addis Ababa. The height of the mountain is 2989m above sea level. It takes 2 hours to reach to the top of the Mountain by foot & 30miniutes by car. There is a church of Abune Gebre Menfes Kidus at which beg celebration takes place every year on 15th October and14th March. There is a Crater Lake on the top of the mountain where people belive it cleanses of sin if splashed on body.There is also Judgement rock where people get confirmation that they are sin full or not.
